Gwynver is a stunning, light-sand beach, one of the few in England with such a bright, almost white shoreline. From the car park it’s about a 5-minute walk down a steep path, and while the return climb takes closer to 20 minutes uphill, the views are spectacular and make it worthwhile. The beach feels spacious, clean, and unspoilt, with far fewer crowds than many of the more popular Cornish beaches. One thing to keep in mind is how quickly the weather changes — it can shift from sunny to cloudy, rainy, or windy within a couple hours. The colour of the water mirrors this perfectly: on a sunny day it turns a gorgeous turquoise, crystal-clear and inviting, while on greyer days it looks moodier but still dramatic and beautiful. Parking is on private land and very reasonably priced at £2.50 for 4 hours or £4 for the whole day. If you don’t mind the climb, Gwynver rewards you with a truly memorable...

Lovely beach. Good place to take a dog during months Sennen does not allow.

The parking is a paid car park at the top with a small hut on your entry to pay. They take cash and card.

Be aware that the steps down to the beach are very steep. Coming down is steep but not too much of an issue, but elderly people may struggle with the steep walk back up.

You can meet the SW coast path from the beach and follow the coast round which is a nice little walk. Sturdy footwear recommended as there is a lot of uneven ground. The point off to the right looking at the beach is a good fishing spot and the path allows you to get down onto the boulders to cast out. I didn’t catch anything in my couple of casts, but I can see it being a good mackerel...

Lovely beach, just north of (busier) Sennen Cove. Pretty much has anything you want from a beach - soft sand, rocks and rock pools at low tide, decent surf, and crystal clear water. There is a lifeguard on duty during summer months. Make sure you bring everything you need for a visit because there is nowhere to buy anything, such as snacks. You will have to stick to Sennen if you want that. Access isn't particularly easy - a walk along the coastal path (or among the beach at low tide only) from Sennen, or a steep path down from the small road at the top of the cliffs. It's pretty much inaccessible for wheelchair users or...

Brilliant place, parking available at the cliff top. Very narrow road leading to it so if any traffic coming from opposite direction there will be some reversing needed to a passing place. Luckily that single track is kot too long. From the car park there is a rather steep path with stone steps leading down to the beach. Beautiful, rather large sandy beach is your reward. Dogs absolutely love it! Lots of rock pools to explore, life guard looking after the swimmers. Tide is very long so sea goes out a lot. There are no facilities at the beach, car park has toilets.
