Ideal to let the dog have a run and fun splash, and you an active walkabout. It has an industrial atmosphere from its days as a quarry location. Not safe for young children. Surfers seem to favour it. Overnight self-built campervans have found a peaceful spot here. On the whole though, it's not so straightforward to drive safely to this location because the approach roads are steep and narrow. But it's Cornwall so it can only be a fantastic experience...

Lovely food van hot & cold drinks Stoney beach. Can not stay over night. Police came & move us on. Locals do not want anyone staying here over night. They called the police Honesty box at the sea defence wall on the right. You can not missed this. Toilets are look after by the locals If you want a shower & somewhere to stay. Porthkerris is a 10 minute drive & they welcome anyone who wants to stay overnight they have...

Really quiet beach, stones rather than sand and the harbour isn’t the prettiest with a quarry on one side and an old grain hopper on the other but the water was crystal clear the space was great, tide line was perfect for leaving space for all. Mix of swimmers, kayaks, work boats and paddlers plus a few quay jumpers. Free car park and coffee vans mentioned by others was there and open by...

Arrived about 7pm Thursday night, fished for an hour or so, caught mackerel for breakfast, although it does say no overnight stays, we were right in the corner and everyone was fine. Gets empty about 6pm and people arrive between 7am and 8am, never gets busy, lovely little place to stop off.. there is also a donation box, please do donate if you stay here, its the least you can do :)

Great for fishing, kayaking, swimming, and snorkeling around the manacles. Dog friendly but too many campers taking up space and chucking tea bags everywhere. No camping overnight signs but I think they're illiterate!
