Wonderful, open countryside, dotted with sheep, ponies and cattle. The walk up to the tors is quite steep but is rewarded on a good day by stunning views all around. We climbed as far as Shower Tor,then across to Little Rough Tor and Rough Tor.If you wish to go further you can descend into the next valley and up to the top of Brown Willy, the highest point...

Stunning and beautiful place on Bodmin Moor. There is ample parking at Rough Tor car park for about 20+ vehicles. This is not as high as its big brother, Brown Willy Tor which is the highest point in Cornwall.

Lovely walk from the car park, stunning views of the moors when you get there. Great for walking dogs & having picnics with the kids. Good fun climbing over the rocks.
