We had an amazing time and the karts are very fast. We loved the lap time board and the email you get after with your times. I was worried I wouldn't fit in the kart as I'm 6 foot 5 but the seat is adjustable and I was very comfortable. The track is long with a good mix of long straights and curves. I was also worried 10 minutes wouldn't be enough time to enjoy it, given you spend more time getting ready and briefed than you have track time. But actually 10 mins was enough by the time the g forces kick in and tyres overheat. The staff at the front desk were amazing and very friendly.

Sadly I can't say the same for the man who did the brief and got us into the karts. Even tho we were there more than the 45 min advance arrival time, he was really rushing us. We'd never been before so we wanted a proper detailed brief. The guy asked who's been before and 3 people said yes. Because of this he gave a very rushed and short brief which only is useful for people who have been before. There was us who haven't been before who could not process the speed of which info was given. Because of this we misheard most of the info. We started to get into the karts and were asked what our kart numbers were. We were told in the brief that there was a screen and the guy made it sound like the screen was outside. We didn't realise it was indoors and when we said we don't know, the guy raised his voice and very rudly said 'your numbers are on the screen, didn't you pay attention'. How dare he! If he slowed down a bit and gave a full brief as if nobody had done it before then we would of known what we had to do. There was no reason to be that rude to us. We were left feeling rather stupid as he said this in front of everybody.

Sorry guys but the rudeness of 1 of your staff has cost...

Visited in the summer holidays with the kids.

Neither of them had ever been in a kart before and thoroughly enjoyed themselves (apart from finding running in the wet more challenging than they expected).

I'm a motorsport marshal (circuit racing) so I'm fairly experienced with how things should be run. I found the organisation of the sessions to be way, way above that which I've experienced at some other kart circuits. Splitting kids & families into separate groups from the faster karts is a good idea and having two pit lanes is a great idea, meaning nobody waits too long to get a run. The karts themselves are in good condition and appear to be well maintained, there's a good selection of overalls and helmets - there was even one that fit me properly, which isn't always the case as my skull is on the large side! The circuit itself is a good mix of challenging corners, sweepers and a couple of nice long quick straights.

The circuit and staff operate to a very high standard and make it clear that the same is expected from visitors. Misbehaviour & bad driving are spotted and dealt with quickly and in a friendly manner, making it possible for everyone to enjoy themselves as safely as possible.

Everyone deserves a massive thank you from me and the family for making something which could have been hugely daunting for the kids an easy, fun and exciting experience. Next time we're down that way we'll...

Overall its a great setup. the track, karts and general experience is very good.

We took part in the family track with my 3 kids.

The reason for 3 stars is that the family race was very congested with drivers and a bigger issue, too much diversity in age.

My kids are 8 9 and 11 and we driving with 15, 17 and 18 years olds as part of their own families + of course parents. All the younger kids are diriving relatively slow with older kids and some adults going full on.

As a result my 1 daughter had 2 big crashes due to other older drivers being very agressive. 1 spun out and went up the wrong way the other went straight into the back of her.....and these karts go pretty fast.

There were several other crashes which are obviously expected but the ones I saw were very much due to older kids/teens/adults being agressive and the younger ones taking the hit.

The manager / owner was good about it and refunded her cost without asking...which I wouldn't have.

My feedback is to reduce the driver count and pull back speed of the older driver karts. Also be alot clearer with older drivers on etiquet around younger racers. They're on much faster vehicles than the littles ones which is part of the problem.

I will go back next time back just with adults and on the main track as looks great but not with young kids. I'm...

Been a few times here and will return. I got nudged a few times so retaliated and they threatened to throw me off so very safety conscious which is exactly what you need. Great fun for all ages I recommend this place. Updating review as another birthday we been again, lots of changes all in the positive light. Kids just love karting, it's never long enough for them but two rounds and they can't stop talking about it always a pleasure to see kids hyped up over their driving skills. The karts have more options for different age groups, the course is really good plenty of turns. Safety still on point. It's a really good place to be whatever age group your trying to entertain that being said the small karts (ยฃ1 ones) were removed so the small one didn't have anything to do but normally there is karts for him too ...

Great track, nice and fast & wide in places. We were on the family track. Karts are a bit dodgy in places they could do with being speed tested so are all equal but you get that at pretty much all tracks. Staff were nice but could do with more synchronised flags as half the time you don't know if they want you slowed for the whole lap or just a corner. Brill couple hours out and the timing system & online stats are the best ones I've seen. Gotta love being able to share ya best lap time on Facebook! The family track was quite fast which was a nice change. The barriers are really good so no worries if you crash & my dad, me (20+), and two younger sisters (teens) were all able to race on the same track. If you come wearing trousers and a long sleeve top you don't need to wear a race suit either.

Kids had so much fun here including the bigger ones (husband) ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ literally marking down just by 1 point purely on the fact you really could do with a little refreshments bar or shop rather than the vending machine. And a little more seating for the spectators. Staff well organised safe fun experience. My 12 year old was a little sore as he had been shunted a few times due to there probably being just a little to many on the track. But I'm putting that more down to in experience as it was his first time karting and most likely got in the way. But it just seemed like there was alot of cars on the family sessions. Enjoyful thou and will be back next year ๐Ÿ˜Š
