Tremayne Quay — Attraction in St. Martin-in-Meneage

Lovely walk through the woods to get to the Quay. Opposite the small car park (big enough for around 4 to 5 cars), through the large gate there is a well paved path. Lovely flat area that was intended to be a landing stage for Queen Victoria. There are 2 fire pits so no need to burn the grass with a fire. It is 1.9 kilometers from the car park but that means no traffic noise. The pathway from the car park is a simple crushed stone road so easy going. Google maps takes you to private enterprise close to Tremayne Quay, but which clearly states as you approach 'no access to TQ or Tremayne Woods'. Look instead for Tremayne Quay car park (space for circa 3/4 cars) and walk from there.
