It was the windiest day to walk around the Cornish coast at Trevose Head leading unto the Lighthouse but it was well worth it to see the rough seas and the lighthouse. It was soo windy I couldn't even hold my phone straight to take a video but I did manage a couple of photos. There were some anglers on the rocks below - I still don't know how they didn't get swept off the rocks as some of the waves were exceptionally big and the spray must have been going 20ft plus. There is free parking if you have a National Trust pass and its a good walk taking in the views to the West.

“Bright, tall, and impossible to ignore — basically the influencer of the coastline. Trevose Head Lighthouse has been photobombing the ocean views here since 1847, and honestly, it hasn’t aged a bit. It’s the perfect spot if you like dramatic cliffs, crashing waves, and pretending you’re in a moody romantic film. 11/10 — would stand here dramatically staring into the distance again.”

Very rugged and atmospheric coastline, topped by this grand old lighthouse. Beware, car park is chargeable, not sure about costs or disabled entitlement? On a clear day you can see Newquay in the distance and its Three Sisters of The Great Western, The Atlantic and The Headland hotels and finally The Pentire Hotel, as the last feature of the town. Recommended.

Now the National Trust has taken over the ownership of the headland they have made some improvements to the area. I have to disapprove with one thing they have done and that is the change to the car park. You used to be able to park up on the grass and sit by the side of your car and admire the magnificent view. Now they have blocked off the grassed area and around the car park with a soil banking, once the wild plants have grown on the banking they will block the view. This is not acceptable when you are disabled or have disabled people with you. National Trust you have totally ruined our...
