Great site in beautiful position, literally 5 mins from the sea. Toilet/shower blocks modern and cleaned three times a day. The only thing is the showers are in the field where static vans are and not in touring field so a little walk, there is a toilet block on touring field with a pot wash room with freezers to use also I think I noticed in the static field block there is use of a microwave. Showers are £1 for seven minutes plenty of time and room for shared shower. Plots very well spaced and quite level. If bringing caravan/motorhome or large trailer tent ask for code for top field as access road to main entrance a bit narrow. There's a few nice bays walkable a great YHA for good food and a drink. Also buses to Padstow or Newquay from rd top of site every 2 hrs. Journey to Newquay takes nearly 2 hrs and is quite eventful as lots of narrow rds. I would strongly recommend a visit...
Read moreBeautiful sandy beach sheltered from the prevailing wind. Sand is perfect for sandcastles. Good for surfing, life guards on the beach. One of the largest sea water rock pools in the UK, perfect for diving to see underwater life. On the North Cornwall coast path. There's a good beach store, ice cream and hot food/coffees van. A good place for a picnic. Right on the beach is the Trey Bay YHA, serving food and with a bar all day, with tables in and outside and live music once or twice a week in the summer season. Plenty of parking (there are charges). Dogs allowed on the beach on a lead. This is a perfect day out for families and also a romantic beach for an evening stroll, as it and next door beach Constantine Bay face West for the...
Read moreTreyarnon Bay is a beautiful beach surround by striking rugged cliffs, plenty of rock pools at low tide, and what can only be described as several coves with their own beaches annexed to the main section. The sand at low tide is soft and welcoming for those of us who like to sit. For the body boarders and surfers the RNLI is out every day watching guiding everyone to enjoy themselves safely.
Also nearby the equally striking Constantine Bay beach a few minutes walk away then, if you keep walking, the rocky Boobys Bay, Harlyn Bay, Trevor’s Bay, Mother Iveys Bay, etc. Plenty to explore after enjoying the sun and sea at Treyarnon.
A really fantastic slice...
