Stafford Castle Visitor Centre — Attraction in Stafford

A great little spot to visit if you wish to know more about Stafford Castle and try on some helmets and armour. There is a very small shop inside too. I never know what the opening times are but it is seasonal. The staff inside are friendly and were eager to welcome us. They were serving hot drinks and a few snacks. Parking is free and there are a few blue badge spaces. The car park can fill up during busy periods but you can park on the side...

Amazing. The castle was really nice, lovely walk around, beautiful forest. Had a look around then had a picnic. Was wonderful then ent to the visitor centre which was Great, lots of interesting things to look at and do. you can try on the Sheila's and clothes and helmets, it's brilliant loads of fun. As part of the Vikings weekend here I had a great time, the visitors were great and the organisers were very nice and helpful. Some closer camping would have been nice. The castle is beautiful and the visitor centre although small and gets very busy on show weekends is well stocked and has good information...
