Went for my granddaughter's 1st birthday. At first it seemed like a lovely place. After 20-25 minutes we decided to order food. Bear in mind, when we arrived we were told the kitchen closes at 5 so we had to order food by 4.30) We wanted 3 x kids chicken nuggets & chip, 2 jacket potatoes & one portion of chips & a breadbun. We were told at the counter that 'the kitchen shuts at 4 today' and whoever cooks begrudgingly said she'd do the 3 kids meals & one jacket potato (so prepared to cook enough chips for kids meals but not one more portion & one jacket potato but not two) I suffer with terrible travel sickness so I needed something to 'line my stomach' before the journey back to take with my travel sick tablet. As it wasn't possible to get my meal, I had to have something so opted for a slice of shortbread which I really wish I hadn't got as I've barely stopped vomiting since the journey home! I understand that times are subject to change, but when trying to order, we were told that we 'should have been told of the food ordering time had changed when we came in' but we weren't because if we had been told, we'd have ordered earlier! We spent over £60 there in total (one Fruit Shoot is £1.30!) and you can't take your own food/drink in and tbh, the portion sizes were questionable too! We choose this place as the reviews seemed ok & the small section for under 5's (my granddaughter was 1) seemed nice. We will now steer clear of this place & go somewhere closer (it took 35 minutes to drive there) and I'd certainly warn anyone & everyone against the slices of shortbread because no-one else from my family have spent all night throwing up, only me & I was the only one to have the shortbread. Avoid!! Edit after response from Krazy Kingdom.
I, as a paying customer, have no reason to say otherwise. We were not told of early food closure when we came in, but when we tried to order we were told we should have been informed about the different time for closing the kitchen. And I was the only one to eat the shortbread, and I'm the only one who spent all evening vomiting ... just because you've had no more complaints does not mean that it wasn't the source. You seem to have an issue with negative reviews, which you give short, snappy answer's but the good reviews have friendly replies. A simple apology for the mix up with the times would have been a much...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent visit to Crazy Kingdom Soft Play. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations for a family-friendly venue.
Firstly, upon arrival, there was no visible price list available, which made it unclear how much we were expected to pay. To my surprise, we were charged for adults, even though children cannot attend without them. This policy feels unnecessary and exploitative.
During our visit, I tried to find a member of staff for assistance but discovered them sitting behind a wall, talking amongst themselves. Their lack of visibility and attentiveness was frustrating and unprofessional.
When I asked about Wi-Fi access, as I needed to work on my laptop, I was told dismissively that it was broken. The staff member I spoke to was unhelpful and responded in a sarcastic manner, implying it was not their responsibility to address the issue. Given that there is no mobile signal in the building, Wi-Fi access should be a priority for a venue that caters to parents—many of whom may need to work while their children play.
We ended up leaving after only 15 minutes. The experience was disappointing and felt like a waste of both time and money. This is especially disheartening as it seems the focus is on making money, such as for party bookings, rather than ensuring a good experience for all customers.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and work on improving your facilities, staff training, and customer service. At the moment, I cannot recommend Crazy Kingdom to other parents, nor do I plan to return unless significant...
Read moreNormally I'd give this place 5 stars, my little one has a blast whenever she comes and the few times we've been since the Covid outbreak, we've usually felt very safe. My last visit was during the 9:30am slot on Sunday (which they advise is suitable for those who have had to shield - such as myself). Unfortunately it looks as though a group of 6/7 sets of parents must have planned to have a proxy birthday party and because they'd have had to book individually online, it wouldn't have been picked up on. As much as I don't blame the kids, the parents should have known better than to bring birthday presents etc along. They were all talking away to one another (not always socially distanced or wearing masks might I add). What's more annoying is that the staff working that day would have seen this happening, but never questioned it. I totally understand businesses need to make money during these times, but safety is the most...
