Absolutely epic place! We've travelled from Burnley to visit, about a 2 hour drive and we were not disappointed at all! SO much for our 3 and 5 year old to do. Really well run and organised. We got there early at 10 and stayed until 4, could have stayed longer if the girls weren't tired. Big inflatable trampolines, buggy cars to drive, crazy golf, fairy trail with map, farm walk (goats, Shetlands, g.pigs, pigs and piglets, rabbits, chicks etc) there were petting times too which we missed as the kids were so happy running around on all the playground climbing frames and slides etc. A big craft area inside an open tippee, tractor rides to another indoor slide and sandpit area and a few more bits we didn't even get round to doing. Food, coffee and ice cream provided was great, loads of seating areas to eat. Even though it was busy the kids could get on everything. There was a water park area and a foam party later in the day but we escaped before the kids spotted this! Honestly can't get over the price. £15.95 per child for the whole day and we would have paid that for just soft play for a couple of hours back at home. Everything was included! And £70 unlimited entry for the year for people who live closer, absolute no brainer. The ONLY comments we would have would be the toilets could do with upgrading/cleaning up a bit, just some new toilet seats etc would make a huge difference as the current ones look a bit tatty and stained. And a separate/private baby changing cubicle would have been nice rather than a changing table in the main toilet block for the parents with babies (for the toilets in the outside play area). The baby changing cubicle/disabled toilet in the inside play area was better but the sink was hanging off the wall. To say the rest of the place was so clean, these let it down a little. And one of the pigs and all piglets were absolutely covered in lice/ticks which we told a member of staff about. But otherwise if we lived closer we would 100% be back. You can also take picnics/food and drink too to save money which again, most places near us don't let you do so another huge plus along with the...

A very pleasant experience, my daughter loved it! There’s so many things for kids to do, there’s a tonne of interactive play in big sand pits, on the giant bouncy ā€˜pillow’ and on the three climbing frames (all bespoke to different age groups). Children are able to take a ride behind an ATV in carriages, as well as riding smaller manually powered tractors elsewhere. From the main area, the farm splits into 4 smaller but equally impressive areas; The Fairy Walk, which is an adorable short walk where children can enjoy spotting the fairies in the trees and knocking on the doors of the handmade fairy houses, there’s the Maize Maze, essentially what it says on the tin but there are written clues to find with accompanying animal pictures that children have to find, a great way to spice up a maze that some younger children might not otherwise enjoy, additionally there’s the animal section, a bridge must be crossed to get there allowing you to look down at the ducks and (extremely loud) geese, from there you follow a path around some pens, age through some indoor areas where the animals are kept, it’s very well thought out, the final area is the beach, we didn’t visit this section as we ran out of time, but from what I could see it was a very quaint beach area which reminded me of various U.K. beaches with the small huts and deck chairs. There is food provided with an acceptable level of variation, it was quite expensive but very enjoyable and the kids meal is nicely arranged, although I would highly recommend bringing your own food if you don’t want to spend to much or if you’re looking to get a little more nutrition in your kid’s meal. All in all, I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience at Piglet’s, I was expecting a generic, run of the mill, farm, but they’ve excelled in pretty much every area to make this a lovely...

I literally have no gripes about Piglets Adventure Farm – and trust me, if you've seen my profile, you'll know I'm quite particular about things. This place is so well thought out. For what you get, the pricing is quite reasonable, especially considering that there is no time frames and technically speaking the earlier you get there the more time you get.

The variety of activities is fantastic. From free petting sessions to the numerous play areas and attractions, it's just an all-around great experience. The food is pretty standard for places like this in terms of pricing, but what really stands out is the portion size and quality. It's not the typical low-quality amusement park food – you can actually call it real food, and the portions are very very acceptable.

The farm is incredibly well-maintained, with everything in great condition. There’s plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors, which is great for families. They even have proper high chairs, which as a parent, I really appreciate. The layout is super open, so you can keep an eye on everything while your little ones explore. All the walking paths and activities branch out from the central area, which makes navigating the farm a breeze.

One small suggestion for improvement: entrance control could be a bit tighter. As it stands, anyone could walk in, and that doesn’t seem fair to paying customers. Maybe they could introduce wristbands to keep things more secure.

Overall, this place is a gem. I can't believe I hadn’t discovered it sooner! I travelled about an hour to get there, and honestly, I'd be willing to travel longer if I lived further away. It's an absolutely amazing day out – highly...

Piglets Adventure Farm in York is a fantastic, fun day out for the whole family 🤩🤩. With fab play areas - both in and outdoor, animal handling sessions, go karts, barrel rides, crazy golf, sandpits, tractor rides, fairy gardens - the list goes on there is really so much to do 🤩 When we first arrived we headed for the Fairy & Troll trail which is a lovely little, easy to follow trail with fairy houses, troll HQ and lots of fairies and trolls to spot on wooden boards along the way. If you listen carefully you may even hear some! 🤩 After successfully completing the trail the boys played in the lovely central play area, where there were plenty of picnic benches dotted around. Our youngest son loved the outdoor sandpit complete with a yellow dumper truck to sit in along with the little toadstool houses. Whilst my older son enjoyed the zip wire, bouncing pillows and crazy golf 😃 We then headed for a spot of fossil hunting on ā€˜the beach’. Where our youngest son was amazed at the dinosaur fossils he found buried deep within the sand. 🄰 The beach area itself was fantastic. There were plenty of toys (including the obligatory bucket and spades) dotted around for children to play with. There were two large, netted hammocks to swing on, a slide down onto the beach, as well as a water area. It’s also worth noting that there are a number of beach huts situated around the beach, which can be hired out (at an additional cost) for the day. After a spot of lunch seated at one of the many picnic benches next to the beach we jumped on board the tractor ride and headed over to the indoor play barn (only accessible via the tractor ride and at no extra cost). 🚜 The indoor barn again has lots of picnic benches and a cafe inside. It’s split really into three areas. There is a ride on tractor area, a fab sandpit area with large yellow construction type vehicles to climb inside and two large slides, one being a drop slide! We probably spent around an hour here (could easily have spent longer) but we decided to get the tractor back so we could do some more activities before the end of the day. On arrival back at the outdoor section we had the obligatory ice cream from the ice cream parlour šŸ¦ before the boys went for a barrel ride, which our youngest son throughly enjoyed 🄰. I think he insisted on going on this ride around 4 time’s as he loved it that much šŸ˜‚. We then had time for some fun of the go karts, easily our oldest son’s favourite part, as well as a play on the ride on tractors for our youngest. Despite the weather not being on our side at the weekend, I can honestly say we had a great day here and can’t wait to return. Piglets Adventure Farm is one I’d most definitely recommend and we will definitely be returning ourselves šŸ˜ @Piglets Adventure Farm #daysoutuk #outdooradventures #familydaysout #adventuretime #yorkshire #york #northyorkshire #makingmemories #piglets #adventure #holidays #familytime #halfterm
