It is a rare treat to find tangible evidence of a 13th century abbey in the middle of a suburb, and although there is little to show for this one, it is worth seeing just to take a moment to imagine what must have once stood on the site. Here today the the Abbey ruins what still remain lay mostly hidden underground, what is visible is just the tip of the iceberg. The 13th century landmark is almost a secret by nature, in the way of very little publicity about the place.
