The Meadow Barn at Stratford Park — Attraction in Stratford-on-Avon

My Fiancée & I had a very unprofessional and upsetting experience with this wedding venue. Initially we were grateful that they let us postpone our wedding in mid-April due to the pandemic, to late November. However once the date neared the venue became very difficult in helping us organize our wedding. They went on to try changing the pricing structure by charging more for the venue hire (4 times the original fee) and even itemizing 30 chairs (there was a fee per chair hire) when our guest list was 15 due to Covid restrictions. When we challenged them as to why these areas were being increased, we never gained an answer. There was no transparency in why they tried changing things, most questions were ignored, they decided which they answered. Due to this and not wanting to over pay for a wedding that was already pre-paid & impacted by government restrictions, we decided to end the contract as Citizens Advice advised the venue had breached the contract. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Snehal Lakhani and Demi (Wedding Planner) for making our Chris & Em’s Wedding perfect. Special thanks to all the staff at this beautiful wedding venue. Nothing was too much trouble. If you are looking for a venue, I would definitely recommend The Meadow Barn at Stratford Park. Everything went like clockwork, the Barn was beautiful for the ceremony. It then transformed into the dining and evening entertainment area. The transition was so smooth. Whilst it was happening, canapés were being served.
