Ohh this is beautiful, if a little muddy, ancient woodland. ♥️🌲🌳🌴 Which is being restored to coppiced with stands. We parked in the pub, and after the work had a cuppa tea there. Walk is basically down some abandoned locks covered with moss and ferns and then up the hill past a large quarry and access a small Meadow. Rich flora and fauna. Beautiful

Great area to visit for bluebells during spring. Take the trail next to the inn into the woods and you can admire a sea of bluebells on either side of the woods. Very scenic and relaxing walk. Parking at a small area to the south of the bridge

A delight full walk with well defined tracks and very few people. Exceĺent pubs around as well for well needed refreshments afterwards. Lovely walk along the tow path.

A lovely walk through the valley. The steep sides are full of deciduous trees & the dry autumn leaves crunched underfoot. The climb up the valley side may not suit some but should you take that, the walk through the beech trees is lovely. If you stay in the valley, you could retrace the path you walked in on alongside the disused canal & river. The Daneway pub is a great dog friendly stop off too & you can get refreshments &...

A beautiful unspoiled walk along the canal with the bonus of siccaridge woodland with its a carpet of sweet smelling bluebells and the distinguished smell of wild garlic and pretty white flowers we were a bit early for the blanket of Lilly of the valley , entrance is opposite the pub , which is also a great way to end your walk with ample outside seating and...
