Have been going here for years now, it's always been spot on and the staff have always been lovely. Today though I made the mistake of returning our plates and cups to the counter (just to be nice), only to be spoken to like a kid, and to be told "it just means someone will be sitting at a dirty table now". 🤔 I was so surprised by the attitude it was only when I got outside I realised the woman had actually been arsey with me. It's a shame that some people still think it's okay to have a snotty attitude towards customers. Read moreWhat a lovely place to visit. I have lived locally for over 20 years and didn't realise that we had such an amazing beauty spot nearby. I saw swans, swans, various birds, ponds, wild flowers. There's a place to get drinks and snack and there's a leaflet to show where the paths run. It was a sunny day so the pathways were dry and we managed to walk a loop around Joe's Pond. There's parking at the visitors centre but it is a bit of a walk if you need to park on the entrance road. Had a delicious bacon sandwich which I would highly recommend, followed by raspberry and lemon cake which was equally delicious. Coffee was perfect. We then had a walk around the reserve, it was so clean and peaceful and an excellent place to walk our new puppy. Added bonus that all dogs are required to be kept a lead.
