Our Fireman Sam obsessed 3 year old absolutely loves it here! Lots to see and do for the children and the staff are so welcoming, friendly and engaging. It's a firm favourite of ours having visited several times already and no doubt we'll be back soon 😊 Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely diabolical. The website shows opening times which are complete rubbish. Checked website and travelled for 2 hours each way to find it closed. Complete waste of time and money. Had a 3 year old disabled son heartbroken and in tears. From reading the reviews and doing some research this seems a common problem. Absolutely disgusting. The museum is operated by the owners of a private fire and medical service, no doubt they were out making money rather than opening their museum putting greed first. Apparently owned by serving Hampshire Fire Personnel. The CFO of Hampshire will be hearing about this on Monday for brining the service into disrepute. Completely unacceptable. Will also be raising with the ASA and Trading Standards. Serious failure of this organisation and certainly wouldn't trust this outfit to provide any fire or medical cover !

Thanks for the reply. Your comments are noted, however some statements you make seem very strange. The company concerned has its logo on the premises and the museum telephone number goes to the voicemail of the company concerned. Also, they are based at the same premises. Not a very good job of keeping the supposed separate...

I have been involved with my son in helping to develop the museum by making coffee and assisting where I could. The museum has even been subjected to a haunting. But not during opening times! So there is no harm created.

I haven't visited for a while but as soon as my health improves I will certainly be volunteering again. Many people love a fire engine from child to adults and some of those at the museum go back to early 1900 and before.

Why not nip along and enjoy...

Can't put into words how incredible this was! We came for a children's birthday party the guys absolutely smashed it, it was so much fun for the kids and the grown ups! What they are doing is for such a brilliant cause aswell the ethos is amazing and I wish them all the best. Look forward to collaborating...
