I visited the Bugatti Museum at Prescott Hill Climb about a year ago and had an absolutely brilliant time. The museum is quite small and focused mainly on the older, historic side of Bugatti rather than the newer models, but that gives it a really intimate, charming feel. It’s full of heritage and clearly run by people who care deeply about preserving that history.
What made the visit genuinely unforgettable though was the staff. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly friendly, warm and welcoming. Some of the nicest people I’ve come across in any museum. I’ve said this ever since: when I buy my Chiron one day, I will drive it here and show the team as a proper thank you for how kindly they treated me. It meant a lot, and it’s stuck with me.
Just by the entrance, there was a small table set up with a few Bugatti-related items, a sort of informal shop made up of donated merch. It had books, t-shirts, a jumper and a few other bits. I ended up buying a light blue Bugatti jumper, which I still love, but I’ve been kicking myself ever since for not grabbing one of the t-shirts too. It was a simple but thoughtful touch that added to the whole experience.

Read moreIt is every man's (and woman's!) dream to ensure that the things they care most about are preserved for future generations. Hugh Conway has done just that. His treasured collection of models, technical drawings, writings, photographs, patents and all things relating to Ettore Bugatti are an incredible insight into the man, his genius and his impact on the world of the motor vehicle and other surprising engineering feats! This exhibition is one not to be missed. Set in the heart of the Cotswolds, the Bugatti Trust is a fantastic educational legacy, given by one man for future generations. It inspires local colleges and supports individual entrepreneurs to achieve great things. We were honoured and privileged to be guided around the exhibition by Hugh Conway (jnr) the Chairman of the Trust. His enthusiasm and knowledge....and pride....is infectious. You will not be disappointed. Well...
Read moreA very informative, interesting and welcoming museum collection focussing on the work of Ettore Bugatti and his family who were artists. We thought we might stay an hour, but after 2 and a half hours, were still finding things of interest. The lady there on our visit was more than welcoming, with a freshly made hot drink provided and provided much interesting information. Of particular interest, there are various bits of Bugatti cars that can be looked at closely - and some you can actually touch!! He was very clearly an artist who built cars - not always the most efficient or cost effective designs, but always stylish and exceptionally engineered. Well worth a visit, admission is only £5, or £5.50 if you Gift Aid it, but do phone before visiting as hours...
