I decided to take a quick dip in the sea. I'm not much of a swimmer, only really comfortable with doggy paddle, but I thought I'd go for it anyway.
To my surprise, I found myself swimming much farther out than I had anticipated. I didn't realize it at the time, but I had been caught in a strong current that was carrying me further and further away from Wales.
Before I knew it, I was standing on the shores of Ireland.
I couldn't believe my eyes. I had never swum to Ireland before.
I was exhausted but exhilarated, and I decided to celebrate my accomplishment with a pint of Guinness at the nearest pub.
As I sat there, sipping my beer and watching the waves crash against the shore, I couldn't help but think about how far I had come.
