Lovely quiet park, nice to walk round with the kids, couple of swings, lovely paths to walk round and find the many wooden carved sculptures, bandstand and cannon. Unfortunately its been left by the council so there are no toilets open, the once popular swim pool is no longer in use and the bowls club and tennis court has been shut down. Such a lovely place to spend time but very neglected. New trees have been planted by local community trying to fund it to keep it open. Such a shame the council have neglected to see what a hidden gem to the local people that need such a lovely place to take their children to walk and play.
