We went with our eldest g/child to visit Clerkenhill Adventure Farm(where we have a season ticket) on a Weds morning in term time as it was quiet then.
Good parking is close to the reception/shop/cafe (as are the clean and tidy toilets) through which you access the adventure park.
We kept to the main play areas and animal pens which are handily close to the shop, cafe, toilets etc, but if it's fine and you have the time and the energy you might take a(approx. hr long & hilly at times!! ) walk further on around in a loop through the adjacent forest(full of surprises!) and back past the livestock paddocks... (pushing a pram etc will make it more of a challenge, particular in the terrain is wet!!)
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as we have done before being with and seeing our little one having much fun on the tractor ride, on the covered bouncy castle, in the indoor playroom and seeing the various farm animals +(particularly) the dinosaurs!!
In between the various self - managed activities,l (which for slightly older children incl a delightful play castle and a small go cart track!), we enjoyed a light lunch (baked potatoes, beans and salad) in the cafe, but there are plenty of picnic areas if you prefer.
All in all a 'brill day out within an actively working farm blessed with breathtaking views of the countryside to see a roundabout if your charge will allow you the time to look!!

Read moreWent to Clerkenhill Farm for a day trip when we were away to Tenby for a little family getaway. What can I say, it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we got there we felt very welcomed, the lady at reception working hard with her baby there too. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of things there is to do there. It’s very very kid orientated and my son who is 2.5 years old absolutely loved it, so much so we stayed there for 4.5 hours. Animals to see and so much for the children to play on and keep occupied. My son loved the adventure walk too which I highly recommend you do when you visit here. You get to see the scenery, animals and bears on the walk. The weather was lovely which definitely helped, but along the walk there were plenty of benches and play areas for you to stop to have a sit down or a picnic whilst the little ones play. It’s all very clean and tidy and well laid out. The milkshakes were amazing too and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend, and would definitely ignore the negative reviews as this place...
Read moreA great day out for families with kids. Lots to see and do over a large area of the farm land. You can tell a lot of thought and effort, and money, has been put into creating a great place for kids to come and explore and play. Seeing some of the newer wooden climb on vehicles are great and seem to have been purchased recently. Great big bouncy castles as well for kids to play on under cover. Not to mention the Frisbee golf course and crazy golf, there's animals to see, go karts for both young and old (showing age a little but still worth a race around the track), sandy "beach" area and lots more. Little cafe on site for light refreshments and small courtesy gift shop (of course! 😂). Lots of parking on site to cater for busier days. All this included in the admission cost, well worth a visit. And the staff were all friendly and...
