We went here today and if like me, you love wildlife then this is the perfect place to come. My husband and I went with our two young sons aged 6 and 9 and they really enjoyed the walk. They were interested to spot all the flora and fauna with me along the trail. We were lucky enough to spot a variety of butterflies, damselflies and dragonflies, toads and lizards. Whilst walking along the path my youngest son noticed tiny toadlets crossing the path so please be careful and tread cautiously in the spring/summer months. My son's were worried someone would step on them so we managed to help many of them to cross to the other side safely! We thoroughly enjoyed our nature walk. I hope that this special place will continue to be cared for to allow nature to continue to flourish...

It's a special place with a variety of habitat but in particular lots of rare bog and fen plants. It's accessed on foot only Capel Coch village. Suggest parking on the roadside in Capel Cape Coch and accessing the lane immediately next to an old white stone cottage the lane is easily missed so see photos...
