I love this place and i have enjoyed popping down for over 30 years...... Nice short walk for the dogs, either up the path on the right turn right at the top 200 yards back on the road and down to the car park. There are a few variations to that walk and I love it, so do my dogs. So why only 3 star......1 a fantastic cafe changed hands around COVID and is now permanently shut 2 the local authority advertise, on line, a bus service. Read moreReally nice little beach, quiet and tranquil, with lovely views. Didn't see any seals or pups but apparently they do visit at certain times of the year. The drive there was fun, around since really narrow winding country roads (lucky nothing coming the other way!) and there was ample parking. Free parking is available right at the beach front or there is an "honesty box" scheme for when it's busier (or you prefer to give money to the locals for the upkeep of the location). Free public toilets too, which is a rarity around Cardigan Bay. Knocked a star of as it's a pebble beach rather than sand (sorry pebbles but you are a foot killer for paddling...
Read moreCymtydu is a beautiful, secluded hamlet of cottages with river leading to the beach. Access to the beach is sometimes limited during seal pup season. Otherwise its a delightful spot to sunbathe, swim, build sandcastles or trek the coast path. Ample car parking is available, with public toilets, just a short walk away. The little cafe was up for sale when I visited so I'm not sure if it's currently open for business so you might need to take a picnic is you intend...
