Enjoyed a fabulous day at Morfa Dyffryn Naturist Beach. PARKING: On looking at the reviews, we aimed for the Dyffryn Seaside Estate.  Seemed odd heading to public parking via a private caravan/holiday park, but yes, that's correct.  Turn into the estate and at the mini roundabout turn left, pass the shop and pub and go through the open gateway to a grassed area by the dunes where there are notice boards and a path through to the beach.  No need to pay (mid-September 2024). GETTING TO THE NATURIST ZONE: Some large pebbles when you get to the beach, but easily skirted.  Turn right and walk for 20 mins to reach the sign which separates the naturist and the textile zones.  My (male) partner and I felt no need to keep walking to the gay naturist 'section' (unmarked as far as we could gather), so we set up our base in the mixed naturist 'section'. THE BEACH: Fab-u-lous!!   Lovely clean sand, virtually no litter, very gently-shelving into the sea and beautiful mountain ranges in the distance.  My partner and I swam (naked, of course!).  Water not as cold as I was expecting. Great sunsets. NOTE 1: As usual, be prepared for textiles to feel the need to stroll from their section into the naturist section remaining clothed. 🤷 NOTE 2: No toilet or food/drink facilities on the beach. Take all your litter home. NOTE 3: There can be jellyfish in the sea, but we didn't see any. Fabulous day out.  Made a new friend.  Will definitely return!

Acclaimed by regular users as one of the best beaches in the UK, Morfa Dyffryn (also known as Dyffryn Ardudwy) is located on the Welsh coast between Harlech and Barmouth in the county of Gwynedd. This location has been used by naturists since the mid-1930's and in 2000 the local authority took a decision to erect notices designating a section of the beach for naturist use. I went there very early so it was still very foggy in the morning. Then I stopped taking photos because I was enjoying the beautiful weather and the charming nature surrounding me. Beautiful high dunes. Golden fine sand. I will definitely come back here.

Lovely beach at the end of a road with passing places. About 10 car spaces on the road and 30 pay and display. £3 for 4 hours at time of writing. Set the sat navigation for Brenar Beach public toilets and Park there. Walk up the boardwalk turn left noting the marker pole for the way back. Some dog restrictions from May to September according to the faded sign. Toilets were a bit grotty at the car park. Beach is same expanses and steep pebbles.

Excellent nude beach, and there aren't that many of them around. I would return. You are looking at about 30 minutes walk from the car park near Seaside Estates. Recommended and I would be happy to return. I went on a week day in August 2025, it looked to be mainly quiet, despite fabulous weather. In a weekday it was a lot of older people. There was definitely some furtive action in the sand dunes. And a few big melons on show. I got to thinking that for the best talent it would be best to visit on weekend Saturday / Sunday when younger adults are off work to enjoy the nude beach. Recommended and look forward to return. There aren't too many nude beaches around, so they need to...
