Enjoy a variety of activities at Oxwich Bay, a well-liked beach in Gower, South Wales. aquatic sports Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy a variety of activities in the bay, such as diving, sailing, windsurfing, diving, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, sea kayaking, and kite-surfing. In addition to providing tuition for some activities, Oxwich Watersports rents equipment. Days with choppier waves are excellent for windsurfing; calm days are good for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. On busy days, though, boaters and jet skiers should beware of you. Getting in the pool You can swim in the bay without risk, however it's best to avoid swimming just in front of the boat area, or slipway. Marching If it's low tide, you can stroll as far as Three Cliffs Bay and Tor Bay down the shore.

Numerous water sports, such as surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, sea kayaking, kitesurfing, and more, are appropriate at Oxwich Bay.

Additionally, there is a public walkway that runs between Oxwich Bay and Port Eynon Bay along the cliffs. Leash walks dogs All year round, dogs are welcome on the beach, although they must be leashed while young children are present. Hiking There's wonderful hiking around the bay as well.

Oxwich Bay parking start from £0.90 - Swansea - JustPark There is a parking charge of about £6 for cars and £15 for medium / large vans and motorhomes to...

Recently stayed at a camp site near here which was only a 10 minute walk away which was ideal. Took the family here for the day and had a lovely time. There are activities you can pay for but we didn't fancy it. The beach was clean and tidy and you could walk for miles. You can either arrive here by car or van and park up on th beach car park for as little as £6. Lovely area with a fish and chip shop and a local shop which has a small selection of products. Local coast guard is close by who handed us some leaflets and stickers for free. A lovely beach to bring the family and dogs to explore or even to try out the activities. It can get quite busy here so if you want a good spot I'd suggest to get there as early as possible to avoid disappointment. I would recommend this beach you're in the area or if your staying for a weekend locally this is a great day out...

Lovely beach. As you come off the road, you enter the car park with a £6 charge for cars. Lasts all day. Get to park right by the beach. You can set up on the beach and not worry about moving because the toilets are very close as well as two cafes. Idea of prices: £3.80 for ice coffee. £4.50 for a sausage & chips. Oxwich magnet £2.50. £10.50 fish chips. Food good enough. The cafe accepts card but prefers cash payment.

The two restaurants are very expensive. As a family we didn't consider going.

Beach itself: tidy, lovely soft sand. It stretches across into the distance & to the right you have rock pools. Sea water very cold, somewhat clear, calm waters We found many jellyfish in the sea!

Many paddleboarders here and people with dogs. Families, groups of young & old, couples. Enjoyed by all. Many people there but not manic.

Would...
