I love Westmorland Park as it is within 10-15 minutes of our house, so we walk there regularly with our Labrador. We take our grandchildren there aswell... I like the variety.. the large fields, Hayley Green Woods, which edge the fields, the playground, the equipment and basketball/football enclosed area, the walk around the lake, the stream, (the shallow Bull brook) where our dog paddles and we throw sticks for her to retrieve. Lots of things to do with children, looking at nature and the wooden sundial too on the grass...
Read moreA clean open park. A lovely little park for toddlers and a youth section also. A lovely little lake to walk round although I didnt see ducks whilst there. Great open field/grass with more than enough room to play football, running etc. I believe there is paved walkway around all of it so it is suitable for a pram and wheelchair access.
