Walking alpacas around the stunning Wastwater Lake was an absolute highlight of our trip to northern England! The scenery alone is worth the visit, but what made the experience truly special was the time we spent with Diane and her wonderful farm.

Our 4 kids were completely engaged from start to finish. The team here did a fantastic job matching each of them with alpacas that suited their personalities—gentle, curious, and so much fun to walk alongside. It was clear the alpacas were well cared for, and their calm temperaments made the experience even more enjoyable. We also loved seeing their baby lambs and sheep.

Diane and her husband were warm, knowledgeable, and patient with all of our questions. They shared so much about the alpacas, the area, and life on the farm, which really added to the experience. We walked away with big smiles, great photos, and memories we’ll all cherish for a long time.

Highly, highly recommend this unique and joyful experience for families or anyone looking for a peaceful adventure in one of England’s most...

Ahhh what a lovely experience this was. We were looking for something different to do on our January break and this was perfect. We had a lovely walk around the farm with Lucy and Rosie the alpacas and their lovely owner Diane. The scenery is spectacular around wastwater so made for a beautiful walk with the alpacas. You can tell how loved all of Diane’s alpacas are. They are more than just animals to her. They are all named and she tells you all about their characters and personalities. Once we finished the walk we got to feed them. It really was a unique experience, really fairly priced and ran by such a lovely down to earth person. Thanks Diane, hope your buisness...

Absolutely recommend! Took a very last minute trip to the lake district and wanted to find something to do on the way around. So glad we took the drive out to meet Duchess, Lucy, Mike and his family. It was a pleasure to see the area from such a different perspective and to get to share space with some really neat creatures. There's a great energy to the farm and it's custodian's--I'm very grateful we were allowed to visit!
