Lovely big field with plenty of space to be separate and away from others, staff friendly and polite and loved the padlocked entry and exit gates to the field making it secure.. however I personally would not recommend it for the price.. on entering the field the dirt track is awful
there is a sign that actually says not to stop on the hill. Reason being you will get stuck.. we have a large car with 4 wheel drive and the holes and ridges were bad
Grass on the field is not cut.. These things I can personally deal with but the toilets.. my god the toilets were awful. Absolutely awful. In the ladies it was that bad you got dripped on whilst in the loos. Even after cleaning they were disgusting and the smell was so bad I physically couldn’t go in there without gagging. Awful. The showers were slightly better but the roof was caving in and peeling as the building is clearly not suitable for water. Others may not mind these things, Iv been camping a lot and have plenty of experience to know camping is not luxury but these facilities were bad.. really bad. #EDIT, in response to the owners comments to my review
if the track is “smoothed over weekly” why after a heat wave is there a permanent sign that tells you not to stop on the hill.. if you read above I never said the grass was “dangerously long” I said it was uncut and your right I definitely should have taken pictures. With regards to the toilets.. it was reported. I have also said that the toilets were cleaned.. but even after this they were awful, they were smelly and like I said you got dripped on. The showers yes again I should of taken photographic evidence. The ceiling inside the shower cabin was peeling away, there were clumps of hair in the drain.. the shower water was not a family friendly temperature, it was very hot, as an adult I had to jump in and out of it quickly and my children screamed. They are cabins.. not shower cubicles they are not purpose built for showers. Finally.. why, why, why would anyone bother to review a camping site and post false opinions or facts.. what exactly would I gain from it at all? I have not asked for a refund or money off, I am not receiving any benefit whatsoever in posting my review. It is an honest account of my personal stay in which I felt I would share so that future bookers know what they are booking before going. A lot of campers would not mind the toilet situation or the driving access. Some would and would be very disappointed if they got to their holiday and had to use McDonald’s toilets instead of their campsite as I did because they personally couldn’t stand to go in them. I hope you get many, many bookings to your field and rectify the toilet and shower situations so you don’t get honest poor reviews...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic camping site, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. My stay was a last-minute decision, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a confirmation almost immediately after booking.

The location of this camping site is a true gem. It's just a short 15-minute drive away from the stunning Seven Sisters country park, which offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in the area. Whether you're a nature enthusiast or simply looking for a peaceful escape, this site's proximity to such a beautiful natural wonder is a major plus.

One of the standout features of this camping site is the well-maintained facilities. The on-site showers and toilets were clean and readily available, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free camping experience. And let's not forget about the pizza van! This gem of a food truck served delicious meals in the evening, and their hot breakfast in the morning was the perfect way to start the day. It's not often you find such convenience in a camping site.

What truly sets this camping site apart, however, is the personal touch provided by the owner, Harry. I had the pleasure of meeting him during my stay, and he is one of the most down-to-earth individuals you could ever hope to meet. Harry goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone is happy with their stay. His warm and welcoming demeanour creates a sense of community and makes you feel like you're among friends.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this camping site to anyone visiting the area. The combination of a great location, excellent amenities, and the personal care provided by Harry makes it a top choice for camping enthusiasts. I know for sure that I will be booking here again the next time I'm in the area. It's a hidden gem that I can't wait to return to. Thank you, Harry, for providing such a wonderful camping...

We have been to this campsite several times and have enjoyed it each and every time we have been. ||||Yes, it is basic, but that's what we personally like. Only issue we have come across is the showers being a bit hit and miss in temperature and pressure, but that's true of a lot of campsites. If you go during off peak hours as we like to call them (lunchtime onwards or from about 9pm onwards), then they're great. They keep them as clean as they can but I also think that some people have to take responsibility for themselves and not leave a mess behind either! ||||Washing up facilities available though I have never personally used these as prefer to boil the kettle and do it at the tent. ||||The owners Tom and Harry are brilliant and so friendly. I overheard one stay that someone had said their chair had broken and they offered them theirs for the night so long as they put it back when they left - Very kind. I love that you can have your dogs here at no extra charge and lots of people utilise this. Most are respectful of dogs on leads around the campsite too. There is a field next door to the main camping field that most people use but there are tonnes of local walks through South Downs etc too. ||||The field is flat and we haven't ever had a 'bad' pitch here - And we are in a tent so it's more noticeable for us. Fire pits available to rent and logs to buy, again we have always brought our own so haven't used this. ||||Great that there is a pizza van on weekends (haven't camped mid week so can't comment on this) which we have used a few times and enjoyed each time. ||||One review claims there is a motorway close by... It's the A27 and though busy, I have personally never heard this from the campsite! So please don't let that put you off. ||||Over all, we love it, and will continue to come back to...

We had a nice 2 night stay here with a group of friends. Our group was made up of 9 adults, three young kids and a dog. Overall we liked the site: The campsite is large with plenty of space to pitch where you like. Good location. Great views of the surrounding countryside and downs. Pizza and coffee trucks are a nice addition. Fire wood and log burners available at site. Enough toilets and showers. Easy check-in process. Site clean on arrival. Quite at night. We walked in and out of the site a few times. Once to catch a bus into Eastbourne (5-10min to nearest bus stop). Unfortunately there isn't a pavement as you initially leave the site and the traffic often well exceeds the speed limit. The very uneven track also made it a bit of a challenge with a buggy. Would be good to get a safer pedestrian entrance sorted. The toilet and shower blocks are obviously quite old. However they do the job and were regularly being cleaned during our stay. The lady cleaning them was doing her best but however well she kept up with the cleaning, there is no getting away from the fact the blocks are tired. The showers I had were warm and water pressure was good. Friends who went later in the morning stated they weren't so good. Possibly it's when quite a few are in use together and subsequently the pressure isn't all that great. There were nowhere near enough bins and it wasn't overly clear on what needed to go into each one. Could do with more and it being signed. Overall, taking into account the very reasonable pricing, I'd happily go back. As stated, it could do with some further improvements but hopefully these will be addressed by the owners in time. Would ideally give a 4.5 out of 5 if I could.

Absolutely magical place – I could live here! Bramley Park Camping in Polegate is an absolute gem. Tucked away in beautiful countryside yet so close to the beach and stunning walking trails, it’s the perfect escape from everyday life. The whole site is gorgeous – peaceful, well-kept, and full of charm. We stayed in one of their gorgeous bell tents, and it was everything we could have hoped for – spacious, beautifully furnished, and complete with four super comfy beds. It had everything we needed and more. The staff truly make this place – they’re not just helpful, they’re full of joy and good vibes. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in every detail. And speaking of details – the freshly made Neapolitan pizzas they serve on site are to die for! Honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. Facilities are spotless – clean showers, toilets, washing up areas, and water stations, all really well maintained. You can tell a lot of care goes into every aspect of the site. They even had portable chargers and a shop with everything you’d need! We only stayed a short while, but I could happily spend months here. I genuinely didn’t want to leave and I can’t recommend it enough. Bramley Park Camping is a slice of heaven – you won’t regret staying here!

I stayed at this beautiful site a few weeks ago; everything from beginning to end was just perfect. Amazing value for just £12.50 per night. It was a last minute on the day booking which was no problem. Harry the owner was warm, welcoming and friendly and gave great suggestions of local walks and sight seeing. The facilities were spotless and the showers were warm. The huge open meadow surrounded by trees (welcome shade when needed) bought the most relaxed and peaceful vibe to the stay, and little bunnies hopping everywhere bought the in-nature experience to life! If you’re looking for a little haven of peace, tranquility with a relaxed and friendly vibe where you can chose your own pitch and have oodles of space - look no further! Below are some pics of the site, the local Paragon Walk (5 mins walk from the site), stunning Burling Gap (15 mins drive) and Beachy Head 15 min drive from there) Thank you for a lovely stay, I will be back!
