Ditsworthy Warren House — Attraction in West Devon

People hoping to see the War Horse cottage will be (probably) disappointed, as when filming was finished it was restored to its previous condition, which is its current state. Unless you have the keys to at least six padlocks you won't get in. Why five stars? Brings back happy memories. Visited ditsworthy farm house today on a 6 mile stroll around the moor, visiting stone circles and stone rows on the way. its a lovely picturesque and peaceful place even though the farmhouse is locked and boarded up. A shame about the graffiti though. There is more history here than the film if you look deep enough. the mist came down quickly today, if you venture on to the moor, make sure you have the right equipment...

It's a very interesting old farmhouse which was used in the ploughing scene in the film War Horse.
