Not much here really. The view from the field in which the tower is in is very curtailed by all the bushes and small trees that have grown up. There is a small opening looking towards Salisbury Cathedral in the distance....that's quite nice...there is a bench there, too. The access up is along a narrow unpaved road (very short). No problems here, nor with an ample carpark (at least for a Tuesday morning). I suspect there may be some very beautiful walks along the bridle path, in which case more stars would have been forthcoming, but sadly as I was with my aged Father we couldn't...

Car park as a two meter height restriction but it's free parking, be careful as you enter and exit as it is on a fairly quick A road but as long as your patient there's always a Gap in traffic, If you miss the entry, don't panic as there's places to turn safely, a mile or so either side. The tower has long since been bricked up and there's no internal floors but still were not structurally look at if you like that's all the thing enjoyable place...

You can then walk across the field to the Pepperbox folly. There is a bench at the viewpoint where you can enjoy the view over the fields to Salisbury.
