The Sheep Wash is close to Cod Beck with ample parking, easy walks around the reservoir, and good for dog walking. Ideal picnic spot in the summer and good fun for children by the river. Popular in summer when the sun's out and would recommend the Golden Lion in Osmotherley for a drink or food. It's also a good starting point for many walks...

osmotherley is a beautiful village spoiled by the amout of cars, recomend the Queen catherine for pub grub and a drink. the sheep was is very disappointing lots of sheep and dog excriment and lots of people splodging and chucking stones. the walk around the resevoir...
