Im really disappointed in the Christmas experience and would not recommend at all. I brought tickets for 5 adults and 2 children.

Upon arrival we stopped to feed the goats and then went straight to the Christmas experience to be told Santa had gone home for the day?.

We proceeded to look for the other Christmas activities highlighted on the website but there was nothing but the singing reindeers and nativity play we headed for our booked table at 4:30pm to be told the restaurant was closed for the day and no food would be available to order. The lady explained she’s not sure why the system let me book our table when the kitchen closes at 4 everyday.

Altogether we spent a lot of money for this day trip out and had family travel far to visit along with us to be disappointed when said Christmas experience was just a trip to the farm.

I have never wrote a negative review before but I’m so upset by the experience and the way staff had a ‘don’t care I’m going home attitude’ and how NO ONE has contacted me even though I’ve expressed all of this in emails in November +December !.

In response to your reply *

I appreciate Vicky emailing me after 3months and taking full responsibility for the restaurant mistake, However I’d just like to clarify that of course YOUR staff would say they did but they did NOT inform us to go straight to the grotto upon arrival - ask yourself if they did wouldn't we have rushed straight there especially motivated by the fear of missing Santa for the baby’s 1st Xmas that was with us, we would not have taken any chances to stop and feed goats. As a parent it would make zero sense to attend a event for your children, told upon arrive you should rush straight to Santa and then ignore this… surely you can see what your staff have told you doesn’t add up.

Furthermore it was certainly not made clear that 3pm was the specific time of the Santa experience. The wording implied our entire farm session started from 3pm until closure there was no mention of a specific time slot with Santa - and if there was again this was not made clear.

Also I did not stop to complain on the day as we were all very distraught, angry and hungry after being turned away from the restaurant and had two young babies with us. So I instead, sent my original email on the 26th of November @ 4:44 the very same day I attended the event on the journey back home. (Please see your emails for evidence of this and evidence it was received via a automatic email response)

I received no reply so sent out the email again and again. I find it very sad that I was only able to get a response 3 months later because I posted a...

This is a real hidden gem of a farm attraction in the heart of the Northamptonshire Police which gives a very friendly and warm welcome to visitors making them feel very welcome. The site of the farm is fairly big with a range of activities to enjoy such as Nature Trails, Tractor Rides, Cuddling sessions with the animals such as The Guinea Pigs and Rabbits, Sheep Racing, Piglet Racing, Barrel Rides, Adventure Golf, Pony Rides and Paddocks and Farm Animals to name but a few and all of these activities are particularly engaging, fun, interactive and enjoyable for everyone. The farm animals that you can see are The usual farm animals without any exotic animals to see which can be a welcome change to come to a very traditional farm attraction and these farm animals are Goats, Sheep, Cows, Pigs, Horses, Donkeys, Chickens, Geese and Ducks and all of the animals are particularly friendly and great when they see the sight of food to be fed particularly the Goats and the Sheep. There are Nature Trails to do which is a lovely relaxing walk around the whole site where you can the spectacular views of the rural location and the surrounding countryside. There are times throughout the day for the Piglet Racing, Sheep Racing, Cuddle Sessions with the Small Animals like the Guinea Pigs and Rabbits, Tractor Rides so it is best to keep you eyes peeled when you arrive and staff are very helpful at the reception desk in arrival pointing out what there is to see and do. All of the animals at the attraction are engaging and friendly and probably some of the friendliest farm animals you will see at any farm attraction around. The Adventure Golf is a good fun activity for 5 minutes away from the animals. The prices for entry into the attraction are reasonable at £7.95 for Adults and bags of Animal Feed are very reasonable at £1.25. There are informative information boards at each of the Animal Paddocks informing of what you are seeing enabling you to learn some useful information about them. The staff are very friendly and helpful and make you feel very welcome and want to come back, which is likely to happen again in the future. There is a cafe/restaurant on site selling a range of food and drink at reasonable prices and also a wonderful gift shop selling a range of great gifts at affordable prices. Overall this is a lovely, fabulous, enjoyable, engaging and magnificent place to visit, which makes for a very fun and captivating day put. Definitely well worth a visit if coming to Northamptonshire and will definitely be coming again in the future it...

What a fantastic place for all ages alike. It was my granddaughter's birthday so 75% of my family was there to mark the occasion. Two of my grandkids had their 1st pony ride which they simply loved. Tractor ride, barrel ride, maze, petting zone, feed the animals everything was perfect for the whole family...... and then we wanted to eat dinner... WHAT A DISASTER! We were only one of two tables dining, so we ordered drinks, we waited, and we waited and we waited. In the end my daughter went and fetched them off the bar. We asked for two jugs of iced water, we got one jug of warm water with no glasses. Then they brought out glasses for everyone including the 2 & 3 yr olds! Still only one jug of water, so we asked again, and again and again 🙄 By now we were on a bit of a deadline for leaving so was concerned that if it took this long for drinks to arrive, then HOW long might food take?? We were assured it was on its way. Instead of bringing the children's out 1st, which most places do, they brought out some of the adult meals. Daughter's ordered Halloumi burgers, one had a good size portion of fries whilst the other had very few. To be fair though the food itself was lovely, and I'm not sure if we were overheard commentating about the chip portion size but another bowl of chips arrived. (Not sure if we were charged tho? 🤔🤷🏽‍♀️) But, despite the issues with the food and drink I would still thoroughly recommend this place for a good day out. We arrived at 11.15am and left about 6.15pm. My only other comment would be that you pay to get in, then you pay for animal food, pony rides, tractor rides plus the drinks and ice creams I felt were overpriced, some of the youngsters working there don't seem to care much but then other's are brilliant (the lad doing the pony rides & the gentleman on the tractor rides) Perhaps give out a bag of animal food to each paying child and then charge for any...

What a cracking little interactive farm this place is. We took our 2 year old on Easter Saturday and purchased a membership with a little Christmas money given to our son. On arrival two young boys were full of smile and wearing big pointy fingers directed us to car parking spaces. They were clearly having a lot of fun making up dances and moves to direct the flow of traffic. As we got out our car they spoke to us and every other guest, checking if people were ok and really making them welcome. Our son watched with amazement at their antics. The farm was excellent with lots to do and explore, we barely had enough time to enjoy all aspects and I for can't wait to go back and discover more hidden corners of the farm. Our son was able to feed the lambs, pet and stroke them and loved every second. The tractor barrel ride was a hit, even if it was a tight squeeze for Dad to get in too. The adventure play area was fab and encouraged imaginitave play on the fotress and towers. We searched our way through the hungry caterpillar maze and listened to the story on our way. We didn't have time for the indoor adventure or the outdoor den building but we know what were doing on our next visit. I think for the £70 membership for him and mum it's a real bargain, hours of endless fun and learning. Our son even found a painted pebble and was rewarded with a chocolate Easter bunny for his efforts as we left, of course daddy had to help him eat it, he is only 2 after all. I give this place 5 stars and look forward to sunny days exploring the grounds further. Thank you for being just down the road, we will see you in a few weeks.

1st may 2023. Very nice farm. First time coming here. Plenty of animals. Nice parks, including the indoor bit. Very tidy and lots to do. Great that you could feed the animals (reminds me if my childhood memories). The staff are friendly, pony ride was amazing. Got to feed milk to baby lambs. My daughter loved it. Would definitely recommend! I would say though, I think it should allow certain tickets to be refunded as I paid for 3 adults tickets and a toddler ticket but could only use 2 adult tickets as it states, "We regret that refunds cannot be offered in the event of cancellation or non-attendance" so we wasted an adult and child ticket. 27th May 2023. 2nd visit. Again, amazing day. 3 adult tickets and 1 toddler ticket. Came back as we had a great experience. We ventured out more and managed to find the witches house which was such a great touch. Certain walks aren't buggy accessible as we got stuck by some steep stairs and had to lift a buggy up them (it was easy to enter walk so assumed it was fine for buggy). We love how friendly and welcoming it is. So much to see and do. Absolutely love it and would recommend 100%.
