The Viaduct is nicely preserved.. the walk across is a little bleak and would look lovely lined with some pot plants or something to give it some colour.. the beauty of course is in the arches which can only be viewed on another part of the walk entirely. There are, however, lovely walks surrounding the viaduct and some nice river spots for wild swimming.. a busy and vibrant place.    Read moreOk, I'll be honest here. You can easily walk along the top of the viaduct and it has some lovely views. I wanted to get down in the fields but they are private property and I'm sure the farmer doesn't want us rambling through his lovely fenced fields. There is a path leading through the fields (5 bridge lane) which gets you down by the river. Popular running route and Ideal drone flying spot. I chose early morning for this reason.
