Lovely dog friendly beach. Walking out to 2 small and 1 larger island. Must check tide times and safe walking route with posters, coastguard or internet before going as quick sand in some areas. We know from experience. It is terrifying! We were fortunate and managed to stay calm and free ourselves. Won't happen again. 🤞🤞

The Northern most point of the Wirral peninsula is a sandy beach with nice flat walking across to Hilbre Island. Situated behind the Royal Liverpool Golf Club has easy access and some on street parking. Walkable from West Kirby and Hoylake.

A wonderful location with a breathtaking view over North Wales if weather permits. I visit here regularly for moments of solace and enjoy the tranquility it offers. When the tide is out you have an awesome wide open space. Road to red rocks can be a little busy and congested at the beginning of the road due to the Green Man pub/ restaurant and church. No designated picnic area, find your own place abd remember to take your rubbish home. No special playground you make your own fun. A good place for dog walkers, but keep them under control, preferably on a lead during the nesting season. Be aware of what the tides are...
