Free parking is available not too far from the castle itself, there's a metal swing gate to the entrance of the field and a board which explains the history of the castle. It's a beautiful quiet place, there were only two other people visiting when I was there. Steps lead up to the castle mound and once on top you can enter the ruins. It's a really nice example of a motte and Bailey castle as you don't see many of these.
