Wonderful gallery with changing exhibitions, and a permanent (though changing as well) sculpture park. We had a really lovely time today visiting the gallery, and had a lovely cream tea to boot! The HCA alumni exhibition was particularly interesting. It is a little tricky to get there, but well worth any confusion in the journey. Had an interesting conversation with the lovely person who was running the gallery, and really enjoyed the variety of exhibits. Read moreAn extraordinary and truly unique experience. It really felt magical and sort of surreal to see such organic contemporary art on display in a rural setting. Simple to get to, just follow the signs or Google maps. Go slowly the route is scenic too.
The gallery has wonderful rich oldness to it from the exterior. What lies inside was ground breaking and modern. Vulgar Earth - There are no words. GO AND SEE IT FOR YOURSELF.
Very highly recommended - friendly and knowledgeable staff, refreshments available too.
