Hugo the Alaska Malamute playing with a ball at Marvelous Hounds dog field, first time in all the years I've had him that I have seen him play with one. #alaskanmalamute #dog #canine #dogsoftiktok #dogpark #playing #fun #enjoyment

Oh. My. Goodness. First and foremost, it was the EASIEST booking process ever. Go on line and a few clicks and you’re booked. Fantastic communication about how to use the carpark system, as well as codes and reminders of time etc. Arriving, the gates can be a little tricky to navigate if you’re on your own, but with 2 people it’s easy peasy. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the park, and my dachshund really came out of his shell. Plenty for dogs to do, like agility and sniffing. There is a wonderful little shelter with a load of toys and a notice board. I would 100% come here again. We now have 2 very sleepy puppies

Really enjoy this secure dog field, perfect for training reactive dogs in peace. Edit 27.01.24 still o e of out favourite fields for allowing the dogs to stretch their legs to fullest capacity. Equipment to train with. Things to practice training with that go past field or are across the way, shelter from rain. EDIT 27.12.24 continues to be a favourite, dogs dont like leaving, owners take good care of the fencing, love the carpark area especially since more hard standing went down.

I have visited Marvellous Hounds, many times, but not for a couple of months. We have always had a great experience there, and the dogs have loved it. Sadly, not the case this time, we left after 20 mins. It is understandable that many areas are wet and muddy at this time of year, but, it is sad to see the dog park in such an awful state, it is a mud-bath! It appears overused and needs a bit of a rest to recover. The area around the little shelter and some of the equipment is pure mud, no grass left, and the condition of the equipment has declined. It used to be lovely when it first opened, lots of toy sharing, available poo bags, even some folding chairs, and was a pleasurable place to be. Sorry, but it is looking a bit shoddy at the moment, and in need of attention. I wont be returning unless it improves, fingers crossed that it does, it was a great facility and still could be with a bit of care and attention to the ground and...

A Review that I don't want to Write.

Only because this is a fantastic facility, that we will be using regularly, and highly recommend the secure field.

Booking is simple, reasonably priced for a large secure field. There is a secure dog field on our doorstep that is priced the same. The facilities at Marvellous Hounds Dog Park are far superior and for that reason we will be regularly using here.

Selfishly, our only hope is that this facility doesn't become too popular, so that we can keep a regular spot.

Update: We still love these facilities, with added extras being made to the facilities. Our dogs love the field and get so very excited as soon as the flags come into sight as they realise where they're going. Highly recommended facilities ...... not too highly, as we want to keep being able to book and use, rather than it becoming...
