Visited the course for the first time yesterday and I have to say I was impressed from the outset. Beautiful picturesque location and the course in fantastic condition. The club pro was great and very helpful but unfortunately we ran into a very disgruntled chef who marred the whole experience. The quality of food I cannot complain with but the attitude of the chef was less than acceptable. I have never been on a society to a golf course where the multiple option requires you all to eat the same thing. 10 people in an empty clubhouse surely is not to much for a qualified chef. A shame that's the memory we have...

I was really looking forward to playing Cradoc having travelled from Surrey. To be honest I was quite disappointed. There is amazing potential there with the views which are stunning. However, June should be getting towards peak condition for a course and it just really wasn’t very well looked after. The greens were a combination of rock solid and baron to long grass, consequently nothing ran true. Tee boxes were in very poor condition and we played off at least 2 mats (in June). The course is an enjoyable challenge but in present condition I can’t see why you would spend 3 times the money of somewhere...

Our society visits Cradoc annually as its always in good condition and a good test of golf. Now there’s a new pro and under new management the standards have gone to a whole new level. Made to feel so welcome and absolutely value your custom. From the pro to the kitchen and bar staff, they simply can’t do enough for you and if there is anything at all not up to the highest of standards they won’t accept it and will go above and beyond to make sure that it’s put right.

Absolutely fantastic,...

Played cradoc on a twilight deal this week - what a great little golf club and superb value for £20 twilight fee! Friendly staff and chatted to one or two members too. Great course with some excellent holes and superb views from the higher holes. Loved how some of the holes are famed and a good variety to test your game. Greens were a bit slow and fluffy, and one or two need a bit of work, as well as a few tees, which is the only reason it isn't 5 stars out of five! Would defo go back to play there again!

If you want a golf course with a view that Cradoc Golf Club is the place for you. The Brecon Beacons offer a panoramic view from the whole course. Demanding enough to give you a good day out. The club House is a single storey property and just had a refurbishment of the changing areas. There is a restaurant and bar open to members and non members offering good basic food at reasonable prices. As you can see not a bad view from the clubhouse looking out over the 18th hole to the mountains beyond.

Brilliant course in a stunning location..Tight fairways, slopes, gradient changes, trees, and small greens, all make this a challenging but very rewarding experience. Played twice while staying in the local area. Without doubt the warmest welcome I have ever had at any course as a visiting non-member. Tom and Gareth in the pro shop could not have been more hospitable. Also, a good range and practice area. Thank you Cradoc golf course for a very memorable experience. Looking forward to returning.
