Manor Park — Attraction in Aberdeen Township

This lovely outdoor rink is what makes Aberdeen a classy town in my mind. My husband and I have so much fun here; it gives us an opportunity to play hockey that we otherwise would not have. Other people at the rink will play with and against us and we have boards, nets, and a mesh backdrop. There is a warming hoyse with skate rentals, hot cocoa, and bathrooms, and a second ice sheet without boards for people not playing hockey. The ice is scraped daily and flooded regularly. I like to go there to play hockey on Sundays. Skate rentals are a dollar.. they also rent out cross country skis (I've never done it, but seems fairly popular). Its usually not too busy. In the summer the hockey rink doubles as a coral for pets... its a good place to let your dog run free for awhile. The worker is always very friendly.
