Veteran's Memorial Park — Attraction in Aberdeen Township

This park was everything we hope it would be... My daughter & I have visited dozens of playgrounds over the last year in 4 different states ( (2 or 3 in Bermuda even) And if you ask her this one is her favorite so far! The picnic area was a perfect place to start our day we were early & got a table in the shade (clutch) then hit the bathrooms that were immaculate & also had a changing table in the men's room (super clutch) Half of our party hit the slides & swings working up a sweat while the other jumped right into the splash park! We had a blast! NJ park planners got this one right! And when we needed a lil change of pace... The beach is across the street... Not my favorite thing with it being Bayside & more rocks than sand (the only way I get in the bay is if my boat sinks) But we enjoyed walking to the gazebo skipping perfectly formed rocks as we went! Just remember this playground gets 5-star busy... Tables & benches fill up 5-star fast But parking is plentiful...

This park is spectacular for young kids/toddlers. There's three seperate play areas that are all in the shape of sail boats. Plenty of room for kids to run around and not be in each other's way. Plus a freestanding rope jungle gym that is pretty cool. Plenty of free parking and even two full court basketball courts right next to the playgrounds. I highly recommend bringing your kids here. A beautifully maintained park that's perfect for families! It features well-designed play areas for kids of all ages, a basketball court, and plenty of comfortable seating.
