I’ve always love the pumpkin patch and bring my kids every year since it opened. I was wearing a school girl costume bc costumes are common here. Yes, it was a short skirt and I was wearing fishnets underneath. Although, nothing was showing and my top half was completely covered. Not even an inch of cleavage. Yes, it was a little sexy but nothing was showing except my legs. I was at the venue all day. My two kids and I did two activities, bought ice cream, and 5 pumpkins. I was told by a teenage boy worker at the very end of my day that I was being asked to leave due to my outfit. I obliged since i was done anyway, and acted very respectful, checked out my pumpkins and left. I love the pumpkin patch and will continue to go, but if there is a dress code it should be put out front with the rest of the signs. I’ve always wore short dresses, I think it was just my fishnets that got this guy worked up but it was very embarrassing for me since I wasn’t aware there would be an issue. It’s not like I would wear this outfit at Christmas, or Easter, it was for the Halloween themed event. I was told it was a family event which I’m aware of since I brought my two kids. I would just like to clarify while yes, my skirt was short and I was wearing fishnets, no backside, frontside, or cleavage was showing. Also, we were blocked in on both sides by cars while trying to leave. I’m aware this isn’t the venues fault, it’s the customers attending faults, but some traffic cones or something placed out there is just a...
Read moreI was planning to get married in August at this venue, but due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel my wedding the week before. Every other company that I worked with (flowers, cake, photographer, etc.) were more than willing to either partially or fully refund my expenses despite the contracts I had with them. Amanda said she would discuss at least a partial refund with her husband and get back with us. She repeatedly promised to call us the next day through text and never called. It is now December and we have attempted to contact her more than 5 times with no response back. The venue was never used at all by myself or any of my party for pictures or the event, but it was paid in full. They took the entire venue fee and never provided any services to us, nor did they even give us the courtesy of a phone call saying they would not refund us. If you are getting married PLEASE CONSIDER your other venue options first. This place will NOT work with you if your event does not go...
Read moreMy family and I enjoyed the free day on Thursday. We enjoyed shopping for pumpkins and buying products from the store. Would be giving this more stars but we stopped to take pictures and this woman started yelling at us. She was white, blonde hair with a big truck. We heard her yelling at other people about taking photos then continued to yell at us as we were leaving she said “you can’t take any photos, it’s not picture day. It’s free admission, you can’t take pictures.” We bought 4 big size pumpkins, meat, jelly and ice cream. If taking pictures are not allowed that should be stated somewhere. I would not have came if I knew I was going to be berated for taking pictures. Was looking forward to coming on a Saturday to do all the fun activities but unfortunately that put a very bad taste in our mouths. Also it’s my husband and I with our newborn child. Not very family...
