Lake Fort Phantom Hill — Attraction in Abilene

I love this lake; lived here for 15 years now. Most beautiful sunsets and sunrises around! I'd like to state my observation on your observations. I saw a lot of reviews with less than 5 stars because the fishing wasn't what they expected. Lol, I recommend that they learn to fish. Less than 5 stars because people are slobs. Well, we can't control that behavior but if you'll watch for our volunteer clean-up days, we'd love to have you join us. Less than 5 stars because the city places obstacles to keep you from accessing certain areas. Well, it's to TRY to stop people from ruining our natural environment and nesting areas with off road vehicles. This lake, the public areas and FREE access are a gift meant for everyone to enjoy and something really special in our area. We love this place and we are proud of it.
