Sayler Park — Attraction in Acme Township

Great dog beach in the Traverse area! We had a great experience here and so did the pups. We rented a shelter and it was a good space to setup our items and dog crates for the day. Water was crystal clear and beautiful. It's a little rocky but nothing water shoes can't help with.

A couple things to note: to rent one of the shelters like we did, you have to MAIL a CHECK. I don't own checks because it's 2022 so I found this to be an issue. There is a large parking area for the boat ramp that requires a pass or fees but just after that on the right is another parking area for the park. There is a very small fishing dock next to the boat ramp and a really nice picnic area. If you are searching for a place to relax awhile then this is perfect but if you are hoping to collect amazing rocks... this isn't the place.
