The Silverbrook Farm — Attraction in Acushnet

This is my first time coming here with my husband and 3 kids. I searched around on Google to find a pumpkin patch, that also had a corn maze for us to go to, that wasn't to far from where I live (Fairhaven) and this farm seemed to have everything that we were looking to do plus some extras. The site/facebook advertised pumpkin picking, corn maze, tractor rides, face painting, animals, store with goodies..and more. Also happened to be going same day as there Halloween trick or treating event. Also this farm is 15 minutes from my house. So my family and I went. I was very under whelmed at the lack of no one telling us before we spent 15$ a peice on tickets, that they no longer had the corn maze as part of their activities (as the deer ate all their corn?) Also I'm expecting to walk through the grounds of pumpkin patches growing and us being able to pick what we wanted. NO it was a small little barn with not 1 single "normal" orange pumpkin to pick from. They only had a handful of pre-picked fancy colorful crazy deformed pumpkins. The trick or treating event was 3 different people standing just giving couple candies each I wouldn't consider it a trick or treating. The two girls doing face painting seemed to not be in best of moods, like we were a burden to get facepaint. There was so many things that I wouldn't of ever paid 15$ a price for admission to not be told that the main attractions are no longer there. I am going to have to contact them to find out why this happened and I definitely feel like my children got let down big time and didn't get to do what we went there to do. In my opinion there is way more farms around that will be worth the price of admission and not feel like we spent 60$ to walk around for 20 minutes and no one working there informed us that they don't have a corn maze before purchasing...

Promised me he was going to help me with donating pumpkins to me for an event. I went there at the time he told me. He said I'm sorry come back in the am shipment was late and will be here in the morning. I called and texted in the morning with no answer. Don't tell someone you will do something then...

So disorganized. No one who is working there knows what is going on or what products they sell. Waited in a long line just to get to the counter and be told they don't sell ice cream. Which is contrary to what the 3 employees I asked said and the giant sign in the front saying they sold ice...
