This is great place to go if you need to train on trails with elevation change. Hikers and runners, many with leashed dogs, abound. I was disappointed that I hiked that long with no real destination, like an amazing vista or a cool lake. This is really a training place, not a destination in and of itself. But maybe because I went in February, it didn't reveal is true beauty. I wish they had waste cans. Carrying my dog's poop around in a plastic bag with no place to dispose of it but my car, was a...

Very nice park. Trail surface was in plenty good shape for running. Main loop is a little over 4 miles. Not too crowded. Parts of the trail could be better marked. There are some unmarked trails that are not on the map or marked, and some of the marker colors didn’t seem to match the map. Lots of the trail was marked though. The park is also between a road and a gun range, so it’s not completely tranquil, but...

Awesome park. Shaded wooded trails that all connect to each other. Wide path that is sanded or dirt (can be e bit muddy after rain) paved along the outside road for bikes. Pretty well marked. They are changing the trail currently. Port-a-john was full but that was end of the summer. Bring mosquito spray for the marsh section. Favorite park is GR so far and we're trying to hit them all!

Large park with many walking trails. Parts of the trails were a little icy with the snow starting to melt but not fully melted, but that's what happens when hiking in February. These trails had: ✔️ A bridge over the river ✔️ Ponds to admire ✔️ Mushrooms to examine ✔️ A boardwalk to traverse ✔️ Lots of other hikers with dogs A perfect hike for all ages and your four-legged friends!

Favorite park to hike. Quiet. Stream and various color coded trails. I can walk for hours here & not get bored. TIP—> lots of dogs on trail! Be aware, and enjoy training your pup here! TIP—> some edges of woods have poison ivy. Simply wash potential shoe exposure or area with soap right away. Watch steps! TIP—> No biking allowed.
