This is an absolutely beautiful place and it was a great for a boat ride but I have to minus a couple stars from it for the simple fact that it has absolutely no handicap accessibility anywhere and that's very disconcerning for people who are handicapped the one dock is extremely hard to access with a fully capable body and the one day that we did go up there there happened to be the officers that take care of the place so the comment was made to them about how there's no handicap access and the woman that we talked to stated that they have the actual handicapped Access Equipment but it's not installed well please install it then the other problem that would be nice if they had access to would be bathrooms cuz you know Where that waste is going with no bathrooms ew.

beautiful spot. excellent for bbqs or relaxing lakeside. quiet and low trafficed these days. most of the facilities have been removed (restrooms at the parking area, water spickets and fountains, playground) but the Pavillion and picnic tables are still on good shape. absolutely NOT wheelchair friendly. IF YOU CANT TAKE STAIRS, you cant really enjoy this spot. Steep hill is foreboding.

Always loved this area with loved ones that are no longer with us. Really pleased that it's still open. Enjoyed the Bathroom schedule, although closed for the season, a chemical toilet was up kept for Patron use. It's always cool to see the old town of Somerfield ( what the land is named after) when pool levels are low. I can remember as a kid Being able to walk out on the old Great Crossing's Bridge,...
