Abrams Trailhead — Attraction in Agoura Hills

Trail connects all the way through to Malibu Creek State Park - ends near the Cistern Trail on Mullholland. Lots of steep hills with loose rocks, gravel, and dirt, especially on the Agoura side. Better footing and less steep hills on the Mullholland side. More of a hiking trail than a great running trail run due to the loose, steep declines. Nondescript entrance. There was not a single person on the trail when we went on a Friday afternoon. Mostly all uphill from the entrance. Very good leg workout. Beautiful views of Agoura Hills. The negative part is going back down. Lots of loose rocks and dirt— easy to slide or trip. Fine for some people but something to watch out for if your balance...

The hike was easy but a bit tiring since it's mainly incline. Not a lot of shade on the trail. Hardly ever see people too. Be careful with the loose gravel. There is parking in front. There are no trash cans for you to pick up...
