From some where wrote :If you wish to see the new Punta Borinquen Lighthouse, you will find that it not too far away. The new keeper’s house is also rectangular in shape but unlike its predecessor it is still very much intact. It is divided into two apartments – one of which is rented out to military personal as a vacation apartment and the other which serves as the keeper’s home. The lighthouse itself is not a separate tower but adjoins the keeper’s house. In my opinion its a one of the best place to be and /or enjoy it next to the nice...

National Guards Lighthouse that was built as the new Lighthouse after the old Lighthouse was destroyed by large waves after an offshore earthquake struck. My problem with this location is that it's always closed off with locked gate and you can't get close enough to take nice pictures or walk the grounds.

The old Lighthouse still stands and known as the Ruins of the Lighthouse not to far from this location, about a 5 minute drive. I highly recommend to visit the old Lighthouse ruins, very nice scenic for...

This Lighthouse is run and operated by the U.S. Coast Guard. Presently it's going to be renovated. It's a historic site, since it was built, when they made Ramey Air Force Base, back in late 1930's, - early 1940's. The base was one of the most important ones, in W.W. 2.. Puerto Rico, had many U.S. military bases. Since it was a strategic island, closer to Europe, Korea and Vietnam. In 1973, Ramey Air Force Base, was finally closed after the end of the...

It is a nice and beautiful beach to surf, relax, and hike. Really breezy. However, there is a lot of currents to venture in the deep ocean…. People that love the beach are the ones taking care of the area what I applaud. One star less as the road is not on the best condition to drive if you don’t have a larger vehicle or truck.

Cabo Rojo salt flats and lighthouse. Beautiful, peaceful place. Getting is a slight hike by foot. At the start of the walk you would have to pass bad odors and trash left by people that have no sense of values. Other than that the natural reserve is a very special place and spiritual.
