This location of the old Lighthouse Ruins is a must visit for scenery pictures. I was so glad to have made this stop. The views are awesome to take nice pictures. The time I went, this beach is not swimable from the looks of the waves. You can park your car on the side of the road and walk less then a minute and you're there. You can also drive up to this structure but it takes away from your photos to have the car in the picture. When you're here, take the time to read the reason behind the ruins. After Hurricane Maria hit, it also did more damage to the ruins front wall. This is highly recommended to anyone to make a stop here for photos.

This is one of my go to spots every time I am in Aguadilla. Not much to do if you are not going for a hike or enjoy the beach. Yet it is a beautiful place to watch the ocean, enjoy some time of solitude, and just have a good time. The views from this place are amazing. The area is a natural reserve too with different trails and several things to do such as horseback riding. As a curious point, you will see old and new ruins, contrasting the signs of time. This is a good trek to do for locals and visiting folks alike. Go and enjoy this spot.

Gorgeous. An absolutely stunning piece of history sitting right on the beach. You can walk in the ruins of the old lighthouse and there's even a sign outside that has information on the history and creation of the place (last 3 photos I included here). There's very minimal trash, which is great considering how many people are there. People wear masks and socially distance. There were even RV trails by the beach and some people passing by on horseback. Highly recommend visiting.

Nestled along the coastline, these captivating ruins weave a tale of bygone eras against a backdrop of breathtaking ocean views. The remnants of the past stand majestically, weathered by time yet retaining an undeniable allure that draws visitors seeking a glimpse into history's embrace.

What truly sets this place apart is the juxtaposition of the ruins against other vacant buildings adorned with stunning mural artwork. As I wandered through this atmospheric landscape, the intricate and vibrant murals breathed life into the forgotten structures, transforming them into canvases of artistic expression.

The panoramic vistas of the ocean added an ethereal quality, a picturesque contrast to the crumbling yet evocative ruins. It's a place where the beauty of the natural surroundings harmonizes with the creativity etched on the walls of these once-utilitarian buildings.

While the ruins themselves hold the echoes of a storied past, the amalgamation of ocean views and art-infused vacant spaces creates a sensory journey through time and imagination. For anyone captivated by history, art, and the serenity of coastal vistas, this place offers a captivating blend that's both evocative...

Punta Borinquen lighthouse ruins is an amazing spot to watch the sunset in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The lighthouse ruins are located on the western tip of the island, overlooking the vast expanse of the Caribbean Sea. The experience of watching the sunset from this spot is truly unforgettable.

As you make your way to the lighthouse ruins, you'll be treated to some breathtaking views of the rugged coastline, the crashing waves, and the lush greenery that surrounds the area. The ruins themselves are a fascinating glimpse into the island's history, with remnants of the old lighthouse standing tall amidst the ruins.

As the sun begins to set, the sky is painted with a myriad of colors, from deep reds and oranges to soft pinks and purples. The view from the top of the ruins is simply breathtaking, as you take in the stunning panorama of the sea and the sky. The whole atmosphere is calm, serene and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind...

English: If you are already in the northwest of the island definately stop by and loose yourself in the blue Atlantic ocean, let yourself be elevated by the ocean breeze and soak in the history of this one of the last pieces of Spanish arquitecture constructed prior to the arrival of the US. A beutiful spot for pictures. The arches that have survived the 1918 eaethquake and countless hurricanes, seen from thebinside out serve as a window from the past to the present.

Español: Si estás por el área de Aguadilla, definitivamente dase la vuelta por este monumento lleno de hermosura e historia. Tremendo lugar para tomar fotos, vistas del mar y para viajar...
