Aibonito Flower Festival — Attraction in Aibonito

This is one of those festivals that there's something for everybody. Musical performances, flowers, trees, and herbs for sale. Shows for children, rides for all ages, different foods, and alcoholic drinks. This place gets full. It's normally a seven day event. Go with patience because a line forms way before the place. If you're going to buy a lot then go for thepaid parking that's in the event space. If not wear comfy shoes and skip the long line of cars by parking in the actual town and walking about a mile to the festival. If you don't want to pay (the maximum is $8 per adult) then there are many kiosks that sell plants, food, drinks, art, jewelry on the sidewalk outside of the actual festival. It is a beautiful festival, with lots to see and enjoy. It's a family tradition to go every year to see beautiful flowers and buy from the vendors' variety, eat local fritters, and listen to good music from great local artists. The best part is how well organized everything is, from the traffic, the parking, the entrance, etc, the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Everything is neat and well maintained. We had a really great time this year, we brought home new plants and are looking forward to next year. Kids from all ages...
