My family and I enjoy every visit we make to this local spot. This was our 4th time out 🥳
Id would absolutely recommend this place to everyone.
This is a seriously fun and calming (for the parents) place to bring your family. The kids are safe, I can see them no matter where I am. The lifeguards are also watching. They are helpful, supportive (for example if a kid gets scared) , friendly and they blow the whistle if they need to.
There are multiple lifeguards on site.
Wherever you choose to sit , you'll be able to see almost all of the park. Which means you can actually relax 😊 while your family plays.
The snack bar is fairly priced 🥳 My kids enjoy having the freedom to go get their own snacks.
There's a jukebox, pool tables, changing rooms, and other games in the same area. The snack bar and the pool table area are open aired ❤️ which is a favorite of mine.
Lunch is taken care of while you're there because of the snack bar. They serve pizza, hotdogs, and nachos but also snacks like chips, candy, pickles, slushies and other snacking treats.
Its a win-win, the kids can buy it themselves, and they gain independence ⭐️
Our family looks forward to returning year after year. A Thank You to all of you who helps bring us this gem 🫂 to life every season🥳
We always enjoy this fun, family-friendly place. 5 stars without a...
Read moreToday was the first and last Birthday party I will EVER have at Richardson’s Lake. I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager but this is the first time I’ve been in a few years. The staff at this place is NOT what it used to be. For one, we paid to have his party here and then when we show up, the manager has all kinds of extra fees. We had to pay for the party, then everyone that came also had to pay extra just to attend, then another extra fee to swim. When I told Catherine, the manager this was my first and last party here, it was like she got personally offended and extremely upset and told me she didn’t appreciate me speaking negative of them. A few minutes later, I see her approaching my daughter to take a float away so I ask what’s going on and she tells me I need to leave because she has called Aiken County after I have paid to have my son’s birthday here!! I didn’t know you could kick someone out for disagreeing with all of the extra fees that were not mentioned up front. I’m leaving now just so my son’s day doesn’t have to be negatively affected anymore than it already has but this is not the way you treat paying customers... waste of money just to be told to leave early AFTER paying all of the extra moneys for no reason. I will be taking this as far up...
Read moreThis was my first visit and I thought it was nice. I love that there are floats to rent for $4 and free noodles to use. Concessions are good - especially the nachos with cheese, chili and jalapeños, and all items are very reasonably priced. The bathrooms are incredibly clean - they have one shower. It was a warm day, and it was not hot or sticky in the bathrooms - that was a plus. Clean environment all the way around. Nice loud music - mostly country, that you could hear out on the lake. Lake gets deep very quickly and is cold- which is very nice. My few complaints - they don't let you use the whole lake. When you're an exhausted adult who wants to float around the lake all day and maybe even fall asleep while doing so in the sun - you don't want to worry about crossing a rope 🤣 I understand no outside food or drink because they want you to buy their concessions, but it's sad that you cannot have food and drinks while sitting on the sand - you have to be under the porch. I guess it's to keep it more clean - but if they provided a few trash cans out near the lake, people would most likely utilize them and be able to have snacks on "the beach". Lastly, the slides are very rusty. You can tell they are old, but all I could think of was tetanus. Overall...
