Centennial Trail State Park — Attraction in Airway Heights

The most scenic segments of the trail are west of downtown, in Riverside State Park. Mile markers and trail signage is better here because of state park management. Another of the great spots for radio amateurs participating in POTA (Parks On The Air) program. Centennial trail (US-3171) has many access points from 9 Mile Dam area all the way along the river to Liberty Lake area. Many of these access points are in fact a 3 fer coupled with the Riverside park (US-3257)and the Ice Age Flood Zone Trail area (US-3424).
